Volunteers will collect native tree seeds! This volunteer activity is a learn and serve format done in partnership with Activate Good. Then native tree seeds we collect will be donated to Project Pando, a local tree nursery. Once grown the tree seedlings will be given out for planting to help increase our community's native tree canopy.

This Learn and Serve project includes a facilitated discussion collecting native tree seeds. At the beginning of each Learn and Serve project, volunteers are asked to participate in discussion, facilitated by Activate Good Project Leaders, We Plant it Forward staff and our community partner where we are collecting tree seeds! After project tasks are completed, there will be space to reflect. Soon afterwards, Activate Good will send everyone a survey and resources to take further action!
