Triangle Tree Initiative

A collaborative effort to plant native trees, shrubs, and other plants across the Triangle.

Our partners

We Plant it Forward is partnering with tree planters across the Triangle to promote tree planting and preservation. Together, we can create a thriving natural environment to enhance the beauty and health of the Triangle Community.

Since 1945, North Carolina Wildlife Federation has worked for all wildlife and habitat, bringing together conservationists, wildlife enthusiasts, hunters and anglers, government and industry to protect North Carolina’s natural resources.


Project Pando is a Leaf & Limb non-profit working to connect people with trees to help heal the planet. [They] work with our community to collect seeds from native trees and shrubs.


Trees for the Triangle is [i]mproving the ecological and social resilience of the Triangle area through the planting of native trees.


By observing nature, We Plant it Forward seeks to understand how best to be stewards of the Earth and to live in harmony with nature to restore and preserve the environment.
